My PSU blew up 2-3 weeks ago and while I was thinking of upgrading around March anyway, I thought I might as well upgrade now. I guess my extended sessions of WoW in this summer heat took its toll 
My P4 could still handle most games at 800*600, and I never had any complaints with any games that I frequently played. But tempation can be so…tempting :p Finally said goodbye to my Intel loyality and built myself an AMD system. I only had a budget of $1000 so specs aren’t too flashy but good enough: Asus A8N-SLI mobo, AMD Athlon 3200+, and Leadtek 6600GT (128MB) 
So while I was at it, got a new PSU and case as well; still staying true my silver/black colour scheme (I miss my glass panel though).
Also, such a shame that Mandrake is no longer free. So experimenting with Kubuntu at the moment. Seems alright so far but I may decide to switch to something else later :\
